As we continue striving to provide you with the best experience possible, JVL Wealth Strategies is proud to present our new reporting system and client portal via the client center on jvlwealth.com. The new system offers several benefits to you. We can be more tax-efficient in your after-tax portfolios while enhancing your overall after-tax returns. Additionally, the new system offers expanded reporting options, including more charts and graphs to help you visualize the information.
Background
In 2019, we began utilizing a robust portfolio management software system that greatly expanded our investment management capabilities. We ran the new system throughout 2020, parallel to our existing system, to ensure that all historical data was transferred accurately. We ran all prior years’ reports as well as the 2020 quarterly reports and meticulously checked and rechecked the two systems to ensure the data and performance information matched. We are pleased to announce that the new system is now live. The new system offers several benefits to you.
Three Benefits of the New System
- We can now actively manage your employer retirement plans and educational plan accounts while the assets remain in the plan (401k, 403b, 457, 529 plans, etc.). This allows us to be more tax-efficient in your after-tax portfolios while enhancing overall after-tax returns. Through the new system, we can now place trades in these accounts based on the investment options provided by the specific plan. We are very excited to offer this service.
- The new system is also tied into our new client portal on jvlwealth.com The client center in the upper-right corner of our website will bring you to a password-protected portal that contains information on all your accounts as of the prior business day. You can access balances, holdings, compute performance, and even see individual transactions. This increased functionality is all new.
- Lastly, the new system expanded our reporting presentation options. The new reports, effective March 2021, offer more charts and graphs to help you visualize the information presented. We hope that these new options make the reports more informative to you.
